Wash and Cover, the flu, and its back

Some quick reminders to help prevent the spread of infection that everyone can do.

Prevention is the best action for such things as gastro, colds and flu. With H1NI Swine flu in the news again, washing your hands frequently is a good measure to help stop the spread of this and other infections.

You should wash your hands;

  • before and after eating or food preperation
  • after going to the toilet
  • after coughing and sneezing
  • after caring for someone who is sick

You can remove most disease causing germs by cleaning frequently touched areas and discarding that wipe.

We can all play a part in helping stop infection in our community so remember, "Wash it, Wipe it and Cover it".
